Week 6 on Nutrisystem #NutrisystemNation

As of this past Monday I completed 6 weeks on Nutrisysyem. The longest I've been on a diet plan in my adult life. I lost only 1 pound. So now I am down a total of 14 pounds in 6 weeks. The past weekend was a considerable challenge for me. Their were a lot of events going on in Downtown Detroit. The Detroit River Days and several free concerts. I didn't eat as much as I used to before going on Nutrisystem, but it was clear I need to show more constraint and self control during these events. I took some of the Lunch Bars and Dessert bars and they helped, but let's face it I could not pass up certain carnival/Fair foods. I just couldn't. So as a result, in the beginning of the week I was down 3 pounds. A life learning lesson for me. If I want to lose those unwanted pounds I must refrain from my old eating habits. I feel as though I'm getting there. It will just take me a little longer than I would've liked. My energy level has tapered off, and I plan on switching up my exercises and taking in more water. I remain forever grateful for my Nutrisystem Support team for cheering me on as I run this race! :-)
Yesterday I received my first Nutrisystem Bear for losing 10 pounds! I Can't wait to receive my next one!
