SteriShoe® UV shoe sanitizer Review & Giveaway U.S. Ends June 29, 2013

Disclosure: This is brought to you by AdvertiseWithBloggers.com and Sterishoe.com. I was given a SteriShoe® UV shoe sanitizer to use in facilitating my review. All opinions are 100% mine.

When you live in a house with four (4) very athletic men you reap a lot of repercussions, one of them being "stinky sneakers".   All of the men in my house love to come home after playing a game of  basketball or football  and kick their shoes off in the foyer. I can't begin to count the numerous times I've come home to find my foyer smelling of wet funky shoes. It is definitely not a Welcome Home type of  smell.
In the past I've tried odor eaters, cornstarch,  baby powder even leaving the shoes outside overnight to try and air out the rancid smell, all to no avail. There's something about when perspiration gets into a sneaker it really holds onto it. The smell is an old wet  mildew type of smell and very difficult to remove.
Recently I was given the opportunity to review SteriShoe® UV shoe sanitizer. A unique and cutting edge technology in the sanitation of shoes for in home use. Since receiving the UV shoe sanitizer I have sanitized over 30 pairs of shoes.

About SteriShoe® UV shoe sanitizer:
  • Scientifically proven to destroy microorganisms
  • Effective on the microorganisms that cause toenail fungus, athlete's foot, and offensive odor
  • Non-toxic. Uses no harsh chemicals, sprays or drugs to kill bacteria, fungus and germs
  • Easy, safe and convenient to use just plug it in and push a button
  • Accepted by the American Podiatric Medical Association
The SteriShoe® UV shoe sanitizer is one of the easiest products on the planet to use. Simply find a pair of "stinky shoes" insert the sanitizer (make sure it fits snug into the shoes), plug the sanitizer into a regular wall outlet push the button and place in the sanitizer bag (provided) pull the drawstring on the bags close. That's it! If you can charge a cell phone you can use this product with ease.
You can see the purple indicator light through the bag. If the indicator light is blinking the product is not working. The usual culprit is that you have not compressed the product into the shoe.
After 45 minutes the indicator light went off and I took the shoes out of the bags. I was blown away not by the smell but the absence of it. It was GONE! No more stinky, funky wet shoes!

Let's Talk Microorganisms

Microorganisms are germs. We all have germs but some are worse than others. Microorganisms are the cause of body odors like bad breath, under arm odor and stinky feet. Left untreated
microorganisms can lead to odor, fungus and infection.

While I was happy to use the product to get rid of stinky shoes it also is a great product if you suffer from athlete's feet or are a diabetic (for the prevention/treatment option) in diabetic foot ulcers. At only $129.95 it's a must have product for the home. The SteriShoe® UV shoe sanitizer is available in 3 size options.  The liberal sizing of the product allows you to use it on various shoe sizes. I ordered a medium and was able to use it on my size 8 shoes, as well as my sons size 10 shoes.
